Bareilly: District Magistrate Avinash Singh chaired a meeting at the Vikas Bhawan auditorium on Thursday to review preparations for the month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, scheduled to be held across Bareilly district from September 17 to October 17, 2026.
Officials said the campaign aims to highlight the public welfare achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of continuous public service and connect citizens with the collective national resolve of building a developed India by 2047.

The District Magistrate directed all department heads to prepare and submit detailed action plans to the District Development Office by September 10. He stressed that activities should be well-organised, effective and centred on public participation, with programmes reaching the block, tehsil and urban levels.
The campaign will include cleanliness drives, health initiatives, tree plantation, awareness programmes, beneficiary interactions and activities linked to government welfare schemes. Gram Chaupals will be organised to facilitate direct interaction with villagers, while laser shows will be held at selected prominent monuments.

Schools will conduct competitions from September 17 to October 2 on the theme ‘India of the Dreams of 25 Crore Children’. Under the ‘Healthy Baby’ programme, children and their mothers in the SAM-to-MAM category will be felicitated.
Citizens will also be encouraged to participate in ‘Seva Mera Yogdan’ through voluntary labour and upload photographs or videos to receive digital certificates. River and ghat cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, plantation drives, education support for underprivileged children, career counselling, Nasha Mukt Bharat activities, cow service and service-oriented programmes in schools are also planned.
Chief Development Officer Devyani, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Purnima Singh, all Sub-Divisional Magistrates and district-level officers attended the meeting.
